Prospective eighth grade students and their families are invited to attend a special meeting to explore the possibility of attending KAMSC. On Wednesday, November 29, 2023 beginning at 7:00 p.m., an Open House introducing KAMSC will begin in Chenery Auditorium (714 South Westnedge Avenue) on the ground floor of the KPS Community Education Center (CEC), to be followed by a tour of the KAMSC facilities, on the fourth floor. Please use the Dutton Street or South Westnedge Avenue entrances to gain access to the Chenery Auditorium. The Vine Street entrance will not be available. The Open House will conclude at approximately 8:30 p.m.
All eighth-grade students in the Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency (KRESA) service area who will have completed an Algebra I (or higher level mathematics) course by the end of eighth grade have the opportunity to consider applying to the KAMSC high school program. Eighth graders who, as ninth-graders, will reside in and attend a school within a KRESA public school district*, are eligible to apply for admission.
